Overview

GOA22 — Compact architectural LED floodlight 7-100W, adjustable body, 5 sizes (NANO → MEDIUM). GOA22 is the Lumeitalia series of architectural LED floodlights with a compact body adjustable on a bracket, available in 5 sizes from 7W to 100W. Monochrome 3000K versions (NANO, MICRO) and RGBW versions with DMX512 control (MINI, SMALL, MEDIUM). Very good colour rendering CRI Ra>80, service life >50.000 h, operating temperature -30°C ÷ +50°C, photobiological safety Exempt Group RG0 (EN 62471). Ideal for scenographic lighting of façades, monuments, retail, hospitality and high-end architectural projects. This Centro Studi briefing does not replace the product page: it frames the luminaire within the design process, from requirement definition to on-site verification.

Where it is used

GOA22 belongs to the outdoor architectural and in-ground lighting scope and is used in pedestrian paths, squares, façades, gardens and water features. Three items always come first: classification of the scope under the applicable standard, the real installation geometry (spacings, heights, brackets or pitches) and the maintenance conditions planned over the installation life cycle.

  • Illuminazione scenografica di facciate e monumenti
  • Retail, hospitality e progetti architetturali di pregio
  • Aree pedonali, portici, ingressi
  • Scenografie RGBW con controllo DMX512
  • Landmark urbani e installazioni artistiche

Build characteristics

Available distributions are 60° (NANO/MICRO). Optic selection is not a supply detail: it determines the uniformity achievable on a given geometry and therefore the number of light points required.

Photometric data: Specific photometric values (flux, efficacy, expected illuminance) are not published in generic form because they depend on configuration and installation geometry. Photometric files for calculation are available from the technical office at info@lumeitalia.it.

  • Compact series in 5 sizes: NANO 7W → MEDIUM 100W
  • Monochrome versions (3000K/4000K) and RGBW with DMX512 control
  • CRI Ra > 80, photobiological safety RG0 (EN 62471)
  • Service life > 50.000 h
  • Extended temperature range -30°C ÷ +50°C
  • Bracket-adjustable body for architectural aiming
  • MEDIUM: THD < 10%, SPD up to 6 kV, CE certification
  • Power — 7 - 100 W
  • CCT — 3000K / 4000K / RGBW
  • CRI — Ra > 80
  • Power supply — 24V DC / 100-265V AC
  • RGBW control — DMX512 (external decoder)
  • Power factor — > 0, 90 cos φ
  • THD (MEDIUM) — < 10 %
  • Surge protection (MEDIUM) — up to 6 kV

Regulatory requirements to verify

The requirement must be stated before product selection and repeated at commissioning with the same measurement method. A requirement written without a reference standard and without verification conditions is the most frequent cause of dispute at acceptance.

  • EN 13201-2 — P classes for pedestrian areas and paths
  • IEC 60529 / IEC 62262 — IP and IK ratings required by in-ground or underwater installation
  • Regional light pollution laws (Italy) — limits on upward emission of outdoor installations
  • Scope classified under the applicable standard, with the risk analysis attached
  • Performance requirements stated with standard, measurement point and conditions
  • Maintenance factor justified and consistent with the cleaning plan
  • Photometric files requested from the supplier for the design calculation
  • Ingress protection, impact resistance and electrical class matched to the site
  • Dimming system and control protocol defined in the specification
  • Warranty terms, spare parts and maintenance accessibility

Installation, operation and maintenance

During installation the main variables are aiming, tightening of the fixings and correct execution of the electrical terminations. In operation, the maintenance plan must state the cleaning frequency of the optical surfaces, periodic gasket checks and how electronic components are replaced.

Declared marks and ratings for the range: CE, CEI EN 60598-1, CEI EN 60598-2-03, RG0 EN 62471. The related documents are supplied with the order confirmation.

Alternatives in the same family

  • EXTRA FLOOR W1 / W2: Autonomous solar LED road marker
  • ALPHA MINI: Architectural LED floodlight 30-60W, IP66, symmetric/asymmetric optic
  • MAXI SPOT H2O: Underwater LED floodlight IP68, AISI 316L, 12/24V DC: fountains, swimming pools, water features
  • MICRO FLOOR INOX 316L: Stainless steel micro in-ground luminaires, from Ø10 to Ø30 mm, 0,1-0,6 W

In short

GOA22 is a defensible choice when outdoor architectural and in-ground lighting requirements are stated, the calculation reproduces the real geometry and commissioning follows an agreed protocol. The full datasheet and quotation request are on the product page: https://lumeitalia.it/prodotti/goa22. The technical office is available for design requirement reviews at info@lumeitalia.it.

Domande frequenti

Which projects should consider GOA22?+

Outdoor architectural and in-ground lighting projects covering pedestrian paths, squares, façades, gardens and water features. Suitability starts from scope classification and real geometry, not from datasheet comparison.

Which documents should be requested before specifying GOA22?+

Photometric files for the proposed luminaires, declaration of conformity, declared lifetime data per IES LM-80 with its conditions, maintenance schedule and warranty terms.

Is GOA22 suitable for retrofitting an existing installation?+

It depends on the inherited geometry: existing spacings and heights must be checked with a dedicated calculation before confirming a one-for-one replacement. The technical office runs the check on request.

Why are photometric values not published?+

Because an out-of-context figure cannot be verified: the result depends on configuration, optic and installation geometry. Photometric files are available at info@lumeitalia.it.
